Sunday 22 April BHS Wales Access/Safety/Welfare Conference. Royal Welsh Showground Builth Wells. Presentations include Rights of Way/Bridleways and how to find yours, Dog Attacks, Horsewatch – what it does and how to set the scheme up in your area, along with welfare topics (TBC)

BHS Stage One Training Course
The Stage One course is run for two hours, one hour of riding and the other hour of Practical Stable Management and theory.
The BHS Stage One Training Course runs for 16 weeks approx
(depending on individual candidates ability)
Price per session £25.
If you are interested in enrolling for this course please book a half hour assessment lesson.
These courses run on Monday evenings 6.30pm – 8.30pm
And Thursday evenings 6.00pm –8.00pm.
BHS Stage Two Training Course
The Stage Two course is run for two hours, one hour of riding, and the other hour of either lunging, practical stable management or theory.
The BHS Stage Two Training Course runs for 24 weeks approx
(depending on individual candidates ability)
Price per session £25.
To take your Stage Two exam you must have previously passed your Stage One + BHS Riding and Road Safety.
If you are interested in enrolling for this course please book a half hour assessment lesson.
This course runs on Tuesday evenings 6.00pm –8.00pm.
BHS Riding + Road Safety Training + Exam
These courses usually run 3 times a year, please enquire for the next dates.
Each candidate must do a minimum of eight hours training to sit the exam.
Price per session £20
If you are interested in enrolling for this course please book a half hour assessment lesson.
BHS PTT Training
The PTT course is run for two hours, one hour of Theory to include: Lesson planning, theory discussion, presentation practice, and the other hour of teaching practice for lunging lessons, Group Flat lessons, Group jump lessons, Lead rein Lesson.
The BHS PTT runs for 12 - 16 weeks approx (depending on individual candidates ability)
Price per session £25.
To take your PTT exam you must have previously passed your Stage One, Stage Two + BHS Riding and Road Safety.
The course will be starting on Monday 23rd January (6.30pm – 8.30pm)
